As soon as Reme was born, everyone wanted her because she looked just like Trudy.  She was spoken for immediately by Chuck and Julie Smith who wanted her for their son, Nick, who had been asking for a puppy for years.  My oldest son is the computer programmer for their company "Getaway Today," which plans vacations for families and couples.  The neat thing about them getting her was that they only live about 5 miles from our home, so I got to see her often and also take her to shows.  They called her Zoey. 

After a summer full of traveling for them and Nick getting involved in school sports and things like that, and me taking her to shows and babysitting her whenever they were on the road, they decided that she would be better off with me.  They are very disappointed that it didn't work out for them because they love her so much, but since she has been turning out so absolutely gorgeous, with an awesome sweet personality too, I wasn't too disappointed to get her back.  In fact, she took first place in the "bred-by exhibitor" class at the National Havanese Specialty.  We came very close to getting the win for the points too, which was absolutely incredible. 

Now that she is back home with us permanently, we have gone back to calling her Reme.  She fits right in to the "pack" of Havanese we have at our home now.  The hardest part of having all of these wonderful little fur-kids is grooming all of them and keeping them from tearing each other's coats apart during play !!

Reme did really well in the show ring.  She has that perfect "attitude" of "IT'S ALL ABOUT ME" that makes her extra special in the ring.  We even went to the Eukanuba National Championships in December 2008 in Long Beach, California.  Even though we didn't win anything, Reme looked beautiful and showed the judge what she is made of.  Hopefully, Reme will be a new mommy in early May this year.  As soon as pregnancy is confirmed, we will announce who the new daddy is.
