After an emergency c-section when Karli's two puppies raced to be the first born and got caught in the birth canal, the little Irish pied male was the only one to survive past an hour.  This litter was to be a tribute to my good friend, and a great friend to the Havanese breed, Sue Nelson.  So little Nelson was the only puppy for the Tribute litter to bring honor to Sue.  Nelson is full of spunk, a sweet and adoring boy, who moves in the ring like he owns it and like he knows everyone is looking at him.  He has Karli's darling personality and reminds me of Cookie with some of his endearing antics.  Nelson is a little guy and we are hoping he will grow up to fill his daddy's shoes in the show ring in order to keep Sue's wonderful legacy in the forefront of everyone's mind.
